Classic Madiba Center back  Momoh returning from injury on Saturday in their match up against Kuti FC made his mark on the game with a goal a well placed effort from within the box to give his side the lead and gave his head coach Solomon a second win of his coaching career in the history of AFL congrats to him but can he keep up with the run narrow victories sooner or later their luck would run out.

 

Zik FC hold Afe Giants to a 1-1 draw to get their  first point of the season, Afe Giants was unable to take their chances early and they gave Zik FC a way back into the game, seems like Group B is beginning to open up, to be a group where everyone has a chance to qualify let’s see how it turns out.

 

Bello FC dominated the game during the first-half in the match up against Macaulay United scoring four goals in the half. The second-half was quite a different story entirely as Macaulay United tried to mount a challenge to emerge the match winners but unfortunately were too far behind, they were able to pull two back to bring the game to a 4-2  end.

Wonder Goal by an unexpected man Dabo Lugard FC right back, the speedster took the ball all the way from the right back ran the field length, did a 1,2 pass with Tunde (wizkid) he got it back and calmly struck the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal. Lugard FC went on to win 3-0.

 

Clinical finishing was the difference between Balewa Stars and Awo Hornets as Awo Hornets got punished for their lack of lethal touches in front of goal, star goal-keeper Wale of Awo Hornets was disappointed in both his attackers and defenders for their poor performance as  the match ended 2-1 in favor of Balewa Stars.
